Digital Director/Head (Digital Practice)

Location: Shanghai

Primary Responsibilities:

This is a critical role as we aspire to become the best social media creative agency on the planet. The Digital Director/Head will think up and execute groundbreaking social media campaigns for an incredible lineup of global brands. You’ll also be leading and growing a team of top talents in the market. You’ll work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Digital new business development that includes but is not limited to digital/social media communications strategy.
  • To develop comprehensive campaign plan / CRM strategy and lead generation programs with guidance from Practice Leader, and also to develop campaign review based on data analysis
  • Lead team work on MNC clients to offer ongoing digital counsel; manage client’s social media strategy, content development and social media programs.
  • Manage client relationship, maintaining client satisfaction of project management, executions independently on a day-to-day basis; and ensure client services and deliverables are of a high quality consistent with Agency standards
  • Finance management & evaluate the response in terms of revenue
  • Team members coaching

Qualification:

  • 8+ years’ experience in digital/social media communications in China. 4A digital agency with PR agency’s experience in account service or project management is preferred.
  • Passionate in Digital/social media communications as well as technology/trends.
  • Strong planning skill and strategic thinking
  • Strong creativity and out-of-box ideas generator.
  • Strong team leader and player.
  • Good communication skill and presentation skill
  • Language skill: Native Chinese, Good command of English
  • Better with digital experience including search engine marketing/optimization, website development, application development.
  • Have a good understanding in marketing trend, Chinese customer behaviors, and China digital landscape.
  • Have a positive working attitude.

Digital Planning Manager x 2 (Digital Practice)

Location: 1 in Shanghai & 1 in Beijing

The Digital Planning Manager at Edelman Digital Team is positioned to be the key point of contact for all kinds of planning related business. This candidate will take charge of the planning phase of all the retainer and campaign work for existing clients as well as new business pitches. The Planning Manager will work with all the other team members to build robust digital strategy with a focus on creative but practical social media strategy to achieve client objectives. The candidate must be a seasoned digital professional who can combine the best of digital media to create innovative relationships between client and consumer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic social media plans for current clients, new business and internal agency thinking
  • Partner with other agencies such as creative agency, research agency to ensure client objectives are met leveraging the newest technologies and social media strategies
  • Periodically check the execution to ensure the highest quality output at all times
  • Provide social media trends/best practices to clients and internal team on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
  • Offer proactive contribution to clients’ business growth by identifying new media opportunities
  • Contribute strategic insight in new business efforts
  • Assist line manager in overall new business development

Qualification:

  • Four or more years of experience in digital planning, within a digital agency, an advertising agency or similar social media environment
  • Well-versed in all forms of digital media including social media, mobile, search, etc
  • Experience in growing, managing and inspiring internal planning teams; strong creative minds
  • Must be able to interpret and draw relevant insight from research resources to creative strategy
  • Excellent capability of drafting lively, imaginative but substantive presentations in both English and Mandarin
  • Working level client negotiation and management skills
  • Good team spirit

Account Manager x 2 (Digital Practice)

Location: 1 in Shanghai & 1 in Beijing

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist digital new business development that includes but is not limited to digital/social media communications strategy.
  • Independently work on MNC clients to offer ongoing digital consultation; manage client’s social media community, content development and social media programs.
  • Consultation to digital program ideas and draft plan for other practice groups
  • Social media/Industry research and case study – including general media landscape and specific case that includes local social media channels: BBS, (Micro)Blog, Weixin, WeChat as well as international ones: Face Book, Twitter, etc

Qualification:

  • 3-4 years’ experience in digital/social media communications in China. 4A digital agency with MNC PR agency’s experience in account service or project management is preferred.
  • Passionate in Digital/social media communications as well as technology/trends.
