Senior Account Director, ATL     高级客户总监

Basic Purpose: The Account Director serves as the key point of contact for strategic interactive/direct marketing initiatives for several clients. This position has management responsibility of account teams as well as overseeing the associated project teams. This position has revenue generating and tracking responsibility of the assigned client base. This individual oversees the management of a wide range of direct marketing programs across multiple media.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:                        Percent (%) of Monthly Working Time      

Contribute to Project Development                                       (20%)

  • Contribute to pre-sales efforts, including proposal generation and development of new service offerings.
  • Generate proposals, presentations, and pricing.
  • Seeks additional revenue opportunities by always being aware of scope changes, upgrade opportunities within existing engagements, or new opportunities with in a customer’s organization.

Account Management                                                              (40%)

  • Rationalize and deliver projected revenue from existing clients, direct and participate in initiatives that generate new revenue from clients.
  • Assure flawless execution of client projects, prioritize resources, and keep team and other groups informed of progress and changes
  • Create and develop annual account plans and participate in regular account reviews with project teams and account management.
  • Ensure effective staffing levels and quality of staff for required client deliverables including business development proposals.
  • Overall, manage regular revenue and pipeline reporting. Specifically, maintain profitability report on project/campaign basis.
  • Develop ideas for client events (e.g., Client Roundtable) to ensure significant value add, and promote all OgilvyOne capabilities to clients on a regular basis. (360 group leader)
  • Manage pipeline forecasting, account planning and account review process.
  • Manage account team by coaching, training, career development project oversight.
  • Adhere to company guidelines, such as timely completion of performance reviews and time sheets, accurate revenue forecasts and achieving average utilization of 75% or better.
  • Routinely review client roster with management to assess business potential and profitability of account relationships.
  • Make sure that reporting and operation procedures of account management are efficient and evolving to address changing client and management needs (e.g., contact reporting, status and revenue reports, etc.).

Document Ownership                                                  (25%)

  • Support creation of Statements of Work and support generation of cost estimates.
  • Oversee the timely production of clear, concise written documentation for project deliverables.
    •  Oversee account’s revenue performance reporting and the creation of effective revenue tracking and forecasting.
    • Develop case studies for major campaigns and publish them on Truffles

Domain Expert                                                             (15%)

  • Expand knowledge of additional software and new technologies as they develop, where applicable, and keep abreast with industry/category best practice.
  • Strong understanding and tracking of client/category competitive environment.
  • Lead the creation and development of creative briefs.

  1. Embodies Brand Stewardship all that he does -measured by DCS & MD evaluation

  3. Provides communications counsel and strategic advice to each client – measured by client, DCS  and 360 degree evaluations
  4. Develops strong relations with senior clients and delights them with our work – measured by client evaluation and growth of their business
  5. Supervises & constructively directs the team to produce clear strategies and briefs which inspire great work – measured by CD and DCS evaluation
  6. Delivers long term brand-building campaigns – measure by  # running over  3 years
  7. Develops the professional competencies of people in the group and drives the team to improved performance – measured by 360 evaluation and client evaluation
  8. Grows his accounts and delivers income/profit to forecast on each client – measured by P&L and multi year and client analysis

SCHOLAR

  1. Coaches best practice in client service to the group – measured by upward 360 degree and number of sessions conducted & participants’ evaluations

ARTIST

  1. Works with creative partners to produce great work – measured by creative bonus and spread of awards across clients
  2. Sells great work – measured by % of ideas bought first time
  3. Encourages a climate of creativity and innovation in the group – measured by # of business boosting initiatives proposed, accepted and implemented by client

ENTREPRENEUR

  1. Identifies and puts in place new ways of working that allows the group to deliver quality work faster and cheaper – measured by # of new ways considered and adopted and subsequent cost/time savings

Media Planning Director

Specific client assignment:

  • Supervises assigned portfolio of clients’ digital media operation including planning, buying, and research/consulting.
  • Develop strategies, briefing processes, budgeting and co-ordination of local plan activities for clients business. Prepare and present key information and insight to clients, including strategies, competitive reports, status reports, budget updates, &media evaluations.
  • Develop communications strategies and innovation for clients using both online and off-line media, and ensure ROI optimization.
  • Assisted in new business opportunity for Neo@Ogilvy per business request.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and finance to confirm staffing requirements are achieved.
  • Assigns appropriate personnel teams to accounts based on skill set and workload.
  • Key contact point to Clients regarding strategic direction of online media dollar allocations, including integration of Internet across entire media communication spectrum
  • Oversees media managers in developing planning/buying strategies across accounts

Candidate Profile:

  • 5 years experience in digital media and internet industry
  • China experience is a plus
  • 4+ years experience in multinational brands and understands the complexity of working with global and regional team
  • Experience in Courier and FMCG category is a plus
  • Good relationships with media partners and publishers
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
