Unilever taps AKQA Shanghai for Rexona’s digital creative

SHANGHAI- As a regional publication reported that, Unilever China has handled its Rexona(舒耐) digital creative duties to AKQA Shanghai, after a pitch also involved incumbent OgilvyOne and Razorfish.

AKQA will provide a full digital service and creating a series of integrated communication campaigns to help Unilever grow its Rexona brand as well as revamping their website in China.

“We are delighted to have been appointed by Unilever. Rexona is a high profile brand which presents a platform for innovation and storytelling within this new category,” said Johan Vakidis, ECD of AKQA.

AKQA Shanghai has also worked on Unilever’s Lipton and Comfort.

Additionally, around the Chinese New Year, AKQA had developed a “Lipton Greeting” digital campaign for Lipton Milk Tea, and Johan adds, “We are delighted to reach such amazing metrics, engaging over 100 Million users in our Chinese New Year Campaign for Lipton Milk Tea. These numbers are phenomenal and say a lot about working with strong partners.”
