Citibank Plaza stands out with sense of style

Hong Kong, 13 June 2012 – Eight’s campaign for Central’s Citibank Plaza launches today, with ads in the South China Morning Post and the Hong Kong Economic Journal to be followed in tomorrow’s Hong Kong Economic Times and in Friday’s Asian Wall Street Journal.

As one of the world’s major financial districts, the high level of competition among Grade A commercial properties in Central meant finding ways to stand out from its neighbours. While researching the area, Eight found inspiration in Citibank Plaza’s twin black steel-and-glass towers.

“Citibank Plaza’s jet-black colour really distinguishes it from other buildings in the area,” says Björn Fjelddahl, Managing Partner at Eight. “This is what we were looking to emphasise. There’s a sense of luxury and style to dressing in black – the little black dress, the sharp black tux. It’s the colour of limousines and legendary fashion houses, and we wanted to present the property like a luxury lifestyle product.”

The campaign for owner Champion REIT’s plaza complex at 3 Garden Road, Central builds upon Eight’s portfolio of property clients in Hong Kong, China and around Asia.
