Job Description:

As a copywriter, you are the great communicator. It is your task to take a client’s business problem or opportunity and, along with your art director partner, create concepts that engage the target and clearly communicate relevant messages. As the ‘copy caretaker,’ it is your responsibility to ensure the copy sings appropriately for a given brand, and that it communicates the message as effectively as possible. It should also be your goal to make your client and his brand famous. To get them talked about. And to have the brands that you work on be the brands that everybody in the agency wishes they were working on. To make the agency proud of the work you do, and to have the agency want to show off that work.

Your Duties Include:

  1. Knowing how the office produces work from start to finish; who does what and whom to go to in order to get done what you need to get done.
  2. Fully understanding your client’s business problems and opportunities.
  3. Questioning the brief. Making sure it makes sense to you. If it doesn’t, letting the brief-writer know. Then coming to a resolution that all parties feel good about, while being respectful along the way.
  4. Thinking up brilliant answers to the brief. But also thinking beyond the brief as well to surprise the client with smart initiatives that can move his/her brand forward.
  5. Working independently to know what next steps are while keeping a steady eye on the process, so you’re able to pull in the right people at the right time to ensure the work gets produced to the highest quality, and on time and budget.
  6. Updating your Creative Director often so they he/she can contribute along the way and stay abreast of the progress.
  7. Supporting account management so they fully understand the creative work in order to better sell it to client and follow through in producing it. Also, availing yourself to see clients to help sell the work, whenever necessary.
  8. Crossing the t’s and dotting the I’s. As the copywriter, you’ll be the last line of defense against mistakes made with the copy. Take pride in paying attention to the smallest details.
  9. It’ll pay off in trust and respect from those with whom you work, and from clients.

Account Director 客户总监 (Beauty Brand and Personal Care, FMCG)

Location: Shanghai
Report to: Group Account Director

Job Description:

The Account Director is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships and for the output of excellent brand communications and creative strategies.

The Account Director must use his/her experience of the discipline to drive constant improvement. The job scope covers: client service, development of customer insights, development of brand communication strategies, supervision of campaign executions, management of overall account financials.

Requirements:

  • Background of FMCG is preferred;
  • Minimum 6 years of account management and/or management level marketing, a minimum of 2 years of which has been in an agency environment; preferably with a combination of marketing, branding, business process, technology, and hospitality industry exposure;
  • Understanding business and industry, identifying issues, providing sound marketing direction and solutions;
  • Proven success in account growth and revenue generation;
  • Demonstrated strategic or consultative approach to account management;
  • Strong aptitude for building “partner” relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • Interpersonal Requirements: Keen attention to detail;
  • Strong account management, analytical, and problem solving skills;
  • Proven track record executing complex projects;
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization, from project manager to executive, while still introducing elements of fun and humor in the workplace;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation in English abilities;
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to be open to new ideas from team members, coworkers, industry sources and clients;
  • Ability to manage several projects at once;
  • A source of innovation, passion and creative vision;
  • Must have sound financial management skills.

Job Description

As part of a team of creative professionals, English Copywriter will work closely with other countries on regional level, ensure the work produces fits within the branding strategy and target audiences, can understand cultural trends to make sure the messages produces are relevant and appropriate.

Requirements

  • Senior writer (English based) with at least 4 or 5 years experience
  • Good team player, not afraid to try new thing
  • Ability to conceptualize big ideas
  • Embraces the expanding world of media, digital savvy (should be a consumer of some social media platforms)
  • Help the Regional team on one of the global FMCG accounts to create and execute campaigns throughout the main English speaking markets in Asia, with special emphasis on India
  • The work would include ideation, copywriting for TV, Radio, Print and Activation, client presentation and execution supervision before final production
  • Occasional digital initiative that the staff need to work with the team for ideation
  • This staff will not only work on the specific home care brand, there will also be some special creative projects assigned from Group, like coke team.

But it’s also your specific responsibility to ensure the physical look is appropriately executed for a given brand, and that visual look communicates the message as effectively as possible. It should also be your goal to make your client and his brand famous. To get them talked about. And to have the brands that you work on be the brands that everybody in the agency wishes they were working on. To make the agency proud of the work you do, and to have the agency want to show off that work.

It’ll pay off in trust and respect from those with whom you work, and from clients.
  9. Maintaining a good relationship with suppliers. As an art director, they’re very often your life line. Having a positive working relationship with them can make the work better and the process go much more smoothly.

Requirements:

  • 3年以上4A广告公司工作经验,服务过国际快销类客户;
  • 了解客户的品牌及相关市场状况
  • 能独立面对客户,并独立处理作业中的问题,及时与主管沟通;
  • 监控并保证工作项目的时间进度; 监督并保证内部流程的顺利展开
  • 热诚与客户沟通,及时就客户的工作提出建设性意见;
  • 有较强的人际交流能力和良好的团队合作精神,能承担较大的工作压力;
  • 本科及以上学历;
  • 中英文听、说、读、写流利。
