Sydney, 23 March 2012: Facilitate Digital Ltd (ASX:FAC), world leaders in technology employed to buy and measure digital media advertising, today announced it has deployed its flagship trading and workflow platform Symphony for five major media agencies across three locations in China.
Managed from the company’s recently opened Shanghai office, the Symphony Media platform now provides workflow automation encompassing Chinese language and currency for the world’s fastest growing digital media market. These successful implementations form a critical part of the rollout for previously announced contracts with two major global agency groups.
Ian Lowe, Facilitate Digital’s Executive Director and CEO, said: “China represents the highest growth digital media market in the world and it is also the most rapidly maturing market. As China’s economy continues to expand, it is now the single most potent driving force in the global economy. Accordingly, we see significant upside in establishing a local presence and building strong market share. The Chinese digital media industry is undergoing annual growth of over 40 per cent, is maturing rapidly, and is projecting massive growth over the next three to five years. Having secured major clients in China and across the region we are particularly well placed to benefit”.
Lowe continued: “The single and strongest influence that can have a positive impact on any digital agency campaign and revenue stream is the introduction of efficient practices into the business process. In such a high growth market, the shift from a highly manual and therefore inefficient environment to one of automated processes and centralised investment data will no doubt positively impact the growth opportunity for the marketplace as a whole. For these global agencies, Symphony is the critical architecture under which they can scale more efficiently, implement best practice standards across their organisations, and optimise growth potential”.
The Chinese language version Symphony rollout is supported directly through Facilitate Digital’s North Asia hub, established in Shanghai in October last year, which continues to expand its team to support its forecast growth levels. Following the successful implementation of five major media agencies across three locations, Facilitate Digital expects continued growth for Symphony in the wider China marketplace.
“Symphony can potentially increase efficiency rates by 40% and effectiveness outcomes by 30% in a marketplace such as China. Our global platform is the basis on which these clients are transitioning from current state to future state; and future proofing their operations in the process,” Lowe concluded.
This success has vindicated Facilitate Digital’s considerable commitment to the Chinese marketplace having addressed the specific language, multi-currency, buy/sell process and business culture requirements of this influential market.
The Symphony Media platform is now available in Asia Pacific, Japan, United Kingdom, Europe and North America, with select countries in these regions being targeted for continuing rollouts.
