Online Media Planning Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Planning Director of online media, Media Contacts China will direct and coordinate online media related projects, including online consumer behavior study, strategic online media planning and campaign performance evaluation that support the mission and purposes of interactive campaign.

SCOPE

Under the general direction of business director, working with other business functions on pitch project.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Directs the consumer behavior study, competitive analysis, other studies required for interactive and E-CRM programs.
2. Direct strategic online media planning to support the mission and purposes of interactive campaign or integrated market communication
3. Assists with, or directs the development of pitch presentation document
4. Directs or performs analysis and evaluation of campaign performance or online survey program.
5. Directs and coordinates institutional research information exchanges with other office of Media Contacts worldwide

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree or above is required;
Over 6 years experience in advertising industry or research industry, served versatile accounts across different advertising categories Experience of successful project proposal development at a state-of-the-art level is required.

Knowledge and Abilities:

Has the knowledge of interactive design, analysis, reporting, and implementation of online campaigns.
Has the knowledge of traditional media planning and marketing communication methodology.
Has the ability to interact effectively with creative team, ePR & CRM team regarding the direction of campaign planning.
Is the quick learner to new tech, new trends of digital marketing.
Enjoys excellent presentation skills both in Mandarin & English.

Desirable:

Experience of digital communication industry is desired.
Top ranking digital agency experience in Car, FMCG, and Retail industry is desired.

Online Media Planning Manager

Responsibilities

  1. Direct report to Planning Director
  2. Assist to set media objective, analyze market/consumer dynamics, and formulate media strategy
  3. Assist to construct media plan with recommendation on media channels, budget allocation and scheduling strategy
  4. Explore new media forms and innovative media ideas
  5. Effectively Implement the approved media plan
  6. Co-ordinate with clients and creative agencies in day-to-day account handling and media servicing
  7. Provide clients with constant updated on competitive activity, media market development and relevant research insight
  8. Provide campaign post-buy report and periodical review report

Requirements

  1. At least 2 years of media planning experience, better with 4A agencies
  2. Good understanding of the work flow of advertising and preferably experience in other forms of communication channel – PR, BTL, etc
  3. Understand IMC methodology, able to plan across different digital media channels and with a good understanding of integration with offline media
  4. Experience in handling MNC clients
  5. Good communication and presentation skills
  6. Able to convince and influence other effectively
  7. Able to prioritize jobs
  8. Proficiency in Mandarin, English both in conversation & writing
  9. Computer knowledge, especially PPT in English is a must
  10. Analytical, precise, organized and attentive to the details
  11. SEM experience is a plus

Online Media Planner

Responsibilities

  3. Assist to contact or coordinate with online media for media information, rate card, policy, ad placement availability and schedule
  4. Effectively Implement the approved media plan
  5. Co-ordinate with clients and creative agencies in day-to-day account handling and media servicing
  6. Assist to provide clients with constant updated on competitive activity, media market development and relevant research insight
  7. Provide campaign post-buy report and periodical review report
