Warc, the global marketing intelligence service, has begun announcing the 10 finalists still in the running for the US$5,000 Warc Prize for Asian Strategy.
Starting today (Thursday 9th June), Warc will announce two finalists a day via the Prize website at www.warc.com/asiaprize, and on Twitter via @warcasia and @warceditors.
The cash Prize will be awarded to the case study that demonstrates the most insightful marketing strategy in Asia. 140 case studies from across the region were entered for the Prize.
The full list of 10 finalists will be completed on Wednesday 15th June, with the final winner announced on Thursday 16th.
The first two finalists to be announced are:
Cafe Viet: Are you man enough?
Nestlé Vietnam / Lowe
Gillette Mach3: WALS – Women Against Lazy Stubble
Procter & Gamble India / MediaCom
The cases have been scored by eight senior clients and five global strategy experts, led by Prize Chairman Miles Young, CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide. Last month a shortlist of 25 entries, based on the first round of scoring, was released. Since then the judges have discussed their favourite entries, and have voted for a winner。
India led the way in the shortlist, with 11 entries from clients and agencies in that country.
