AKQA Chief Creative Officer Daniel Bonner and Client Services Director William Lidstone are departing the global shop to join Razorfish. Bonner leaves after fifteen years at the agency, during which he helped to oversee the agency’s European creative throughout London, Berlin and Amsterdam, for clients like Nike, BMW, LandRover and Mini.
Lidstone had joined AKQA in 2003, moving up from development director to his most recent post as client services director. He and Bonner will be taking on posts at Razorfish similar to their roles at AKQA.
AKQA European Managing Director Guy Wieynk issued a statement in response to their departures: “We would like to thank Daniel and William for all of their work and commitment to AKQA. We wish them all the best in their future careers.”
