Business Development Manager, Marketing

LOCATION: Shanghai

REPORT TO: Director of Marketing

JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Development Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop marketing partnerships. He/she is responsible for bringing the successful partnership in order to increase qualified new members, ultimately reaching the corresponding revenue goals.

  • Initiate contacts with prospective marketing partners through emails, phone calls, and networks
  • Present and explain clearly to prospective partners the GLS business model and merits, so that to negotiate the best partnerships conditions and terms
  • Fully in charge of the partnership activities of the whole site to bring new qualified customers in a creative and cost-efficient way
  • Explore and develop partnership opportunities in various industries and databases, including but not limit to Affiliates, banks, SNS, corporate, airlines, mobile, etc.
  • Liaise internally within the department or within the company on execution of the successful partnership
  • Achieve or exceed the monthly Marketing target, as well as monthly new member acquisition target

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of Business Development experience with a minimum of 3 years in the Business-to-Business area
  • Great networks in the above mentioned partnership industries
  • A strong history of partnership achievement during career
  • Very good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, including strong written and verbal skills
  • Result-oriented and is able to work under pressure
  • Previous e-commerce experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a 4-year college or university

  • 达到或超过每月的市场营销目标,以及每月的会员注册目标

任职资格:

  • 5年以上业务拓展经验,其中不少于3年的在企业对企业领域的经验
  • 有在上述合作行业内的广阔人脉关系
  • 具有成功达成合作关系的经验
  • 卓越的演示能力及谈判技巧
  • 良好的英语沟通能力,包括较强的书面和口头表达能力
  • 以结果为导向,能够在压力下工作
  • 有电子商务经验者优先
  • 学士学位或四年本科以上学历
